The old photos below are from several contributors. Most are from The Haxey and Westwoodside Heritage Society and others from Alan Holgate the latter having a large collection of old Isle photos here: https://axholmecameraman.shutterfly.com/oldislepics

You can see that most of the photos refer to parts of the village. This is because Westwoodside is a combination of the historical hamlets of Park, Newbigg, Nethergate, Upperthorpe and Commonside. These names persist, as you can see on a modern road map of the area (courtesy of Bing maps) but were once very clearly delineated as you can see on the old Ordinance Survey map of about 1880.
